I recently had the incredible honor of being the live wedding illustrator at the stunning nuptials of Sasha and James at the picturesque Lilymere Estate. As Sasha, a talented wedding florist and owner of Sass Flower, tied the knot with her beloved James, the day was nothing short of wonderful .
The Lilymere Estate provided a breathtaking backdrop for the celebration, with its rolling landscapes and elegant architecture. As guests mingled and shared in the joy and sunshine, I set up my easel, ready to capture some live illustrations.
Sasha’s eye for detail was evident in every corner. The floral arrangements were a testament to her talent, transforming the marque venue into a floral wonderland.
Each bouquet and centerpiece seemed to tell a story, blending seamlessly with the romantic ambiance.
Throughout the day, I had the pleasure of painting guest portraits. It was fun to see their reactions as they received a unique keepsake from this special day.
Each portrait captured not just a likeness, but a moment of happiness shared among friends and family.
One of the highlights was painting Sasha and James together and their mothers to give as gifts.
As the sun set over Lilymere Estate, the celebration continued with laughter, dancing, and toasts.
It was almost an Italian lake style wedding.
I am grateful to have been a part of their special day, capturing memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
She worked so hard to create the most dreamy day. The flowers! The venue! The sunshine … that dress!
