Cheryl Morrice is an artist born and brought up in Fife, Scotland.

Cheryl began her art career almost 10 years ago selling from stalls in the Edinburgh Grassmarket. This branched to commercial shows elsewhere over the years. Cheryl’s art has now sold to homes around the world .

Working from her studio in Fife, Cheryl specialises in children’s portraits in oils, watercolour and pastel and has developed a loose art style which can be described as painterly.

After living abroad for a number of years,Cheryl has returned to Fife and enjoys the countryside and coastline from where she can take inspiration for plein air painting.

Coastal scenes, landscapes, gardens, wildlife,dancers, mothers, cityscapes, couple paintings & more, are some featured subjects .

“I like to paint people or funny stories and celebrate life through art. Life is precious and there are little joys to be found everywhere. I paint for my own joy. If I can make people smile, well that’s a bonus.”

Cheryl currently works full time as a live wedding & event artist, as well as a family portrait artist.
