What I do

As a wedding painter in Scotland, I paint your memories from your photos in my studio.

I have had the privilege of painting wedding portrait commissions for the past few years. My style has evolved in that time and whether working in watercolour or a large oil painting, I am thankful for every challenge.

Your wedding day deserves to be remembered forever, not just in photos, but something extra.

Whether you’re saying your vows in a historic manor in Edinburgh, a countryside barn in Fife, a Highland castle, or a coastal chapel, I capture the feeling of your day in a painting.

Often I am booked as a wedding gift to the couple by aunties, sisters, or bridesmaids.

What a lovely surprise to receive as a memoir of your day.

I will ask you to capture photos of the wedding to paint a favourite scene of the day. I will recreate this in my studio.

This might include the bride & groom plus the beautiful venue. It may be the first dance moment. How about a scene of the couple with some four legged friends in the scene?

Whatever you chose, your loved ones will be delighted to receive a painting of the day.

I paint in watercolour on archival paper. The painting will be delivered a lovely frame.
